Catering Assistant
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Catering Assistant to join our team at Heathrow Airport. This role is ideal for candidates with previous catering or hospitality experience who also hold a full UK manual driving licence, as driving duties form part of the position.
This is a role for people who enjoy variety, fresh air and friendly faces. You’ll spend most days working from a food truck on the airport tarmac, serving food and drinks to colleagues and meeting a wide variety of team members from across the airport. You will build great connections, and enjoy working outdoors when you’re right at the heart of the action.
What We Offer
• £13.50 per hour arising to
• £14.60 per hour after 12 weeks
• Weekly pay
• Free meal provided during shifts
• Rotating shift patterns (2 earlies, 2 lates and 2 off):
o 05:00 – 14:30
o 13:00 – 22:30
Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting with food preparation and general kitchen duties
• Loading, unloading, and transporting catering supplies across Heathrow Airport sites
• Driving company vehicles when required – a full UK manual driving licence is essential
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness
• Supporting chefs and kitchen teams during busy service periods
• Following all health & safety and airport security procedures
Requirements:
• Previous experience within catering, hospitality, food production, or kitchen environments preferred
• Must hold a valid full UK manual driving licence
• Comfortable driving manual vehicles as part of daily duties
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
• Flexible approach to shifts, including weekends and early starts
• Must be able to pass airport security clearance and background checks
