We’re recruiting talented chefs to join airline lounge at Aberdeen Airport, offering the opportunity to work in a modern, kitchen and showcase your culinary skills to international travellers.
You’ll be preparing fresh, high-quality food in an exciting and professional environment, working as part of a supportive kitchen team.

• Permanent, full-time employment.
• Excellent 2 early / 2 late / 2 off shift pattern:
  • Early shifts: 03:45 – 12:00
  • Late shifts: 11:00 – 19:30

As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking fresh food to a consistently high standard, including:

• Preparing ingredients and mise en place.
• Cooking and presenting dishes to the required standard.
• Following recipes and maintaining portion control.
• Ensuring food is prepared and served on time.
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene and food safety standards.
• Working effectively as part of a busy kitchen team.
• Supporting other kitchen sections when required.

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role.
• Experience working in a busy, medium-to-high-volume kitchen.
• A passion for fresh food and high standards.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• The ability to remain calm and work efficiently under pressure.

We will happily consider candidates with experience as a Commis Chef, Catering Chef, Cook, Line Chef, Kitchen Supervisor or Catering Assistant who are ready to take the next step in their career.

Important Airport Security Requirements

As this role is based within an airport, successful applicants must be able to obtain the required airport security clearance.
You must be able to provide:

• A complete 5-year employment and/or education history.
• A complete 5-year address history.
• A Criminal Record Check will also be required, with the cost refunded after four weeks.
