Our friendly customer service agents conduct passenger security screenings with a smile and are always ready to provide friendly customer service to both passengers and airport employees. No prior security experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
It is essential for you to have your own transport for this role and have been a resident in the UK for a minimum period of 3 years.
For this Customer Service Agent role, we are offering:
• Full airport security training and development.
• £11.45 p/h during initial training rising to £12.00 p/h.
• £22.90 p/h - £24.00 p/h (discretionary premium payments).
• Shift pattern 4 on 2 off various shifts
o Shifts could vary from 8hr to 11.5hrs
o Between 0300 AM – 1430 pm
o Between 1230 pm – 2230 pm
• 40 hrs per week guaranteed + Overtime.
• Weekly or monthly pay.
• Free airport parking + Airport staff retail discounts.
• Ongoing assignment
The Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Customer Service Agent role:
• Assisting passengers through security.
• Carrying out body searches and baggage searches on customers and staff (full training provided).
• Conducting airport passenger security screenings and searches on airport employees and passengers at security control.
• Checking staff ID and passenger boarding cards before entering the security area.
• Operating X-Ray Machines (full training provided).
• Dealing with challenging situations that can occur in an airport environment.
The Experience & Skills Required for this Customer Service Agent role:
• Customer service orientated.
• Physical fitness is required to perform repetitive movements and conduct body searches without assistance.
• The ability to stand, unaided, for long periods (this is an essential requirement).
Successful Applicants will be subject to:
• A 5-year checkable history for security vetting purposes.
• Counter-Terrorists Check and Criminal Record Check (NI Check).
• Colour vision assessment.
