This and excellent opportunity for a GSE/ HGV Mechanic responsible for the maintenance and servicing of all ground support equipment working for a market specialist based in Birmingham. The GSE/HGV Mechanic will report directly to the Workshop Manager, and will have a number of key duties and responsibilities, which will include the following: Maintenance of all ground equipment, powered and non-powered that are used by the company. Complete all scheduled servicing of ground equipment and maintain accurate repair records. Carrying out all repairs and servicing to hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Ensure health & safety procedures are maintained at all times. Perform any other duties as may be reasonably required by Workshop supervisor or Department Manager. The ideal candidate must have the following skills and experience: Experience of carrying out mechanical repairs on GSE/HGV vehicles Hands on experience of working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Qualified to City & Guilds (Repair of motor vehicles) standard. UK driving licence. The ability to solve problems and making decisions. A flexible and team working attitude. Able to work 1 in 4 call outs at the weekend £60 per call out worked plus excellent bonus scheme.
