Aviation Recruitment Network have a fantastic opportunity for experienced warehouse operatives - Cargo to work for a leading cargo company in Colnbrook, Slough. They are one of the biggest cargo companies in the UK and are currently looking to hire for multiple shifts and roles. The ideal candidate will have minimum 2 years cargo experience and will understand working with a Xray screening machine as an advantage.
This is a fixed shift pattern from 07:00 to 19:00 4 on 4 off. Salary of £28k up to £32k.
Warehouse Operatives will receive:
• Full training
• Incentives once completion of probation

• Ability to upskill as a FLT driver
Warehouse Operatives duties and expectations:
• Ensure all warehouse employees training it compliant with their role in the warehouse
• Watch over all Warehousing activities and ensure compliance.
• Follow and enforce all internal procedures to ensure compliance in areas such as:
- Health & safety
- Dangerous goods
- Aviation security
- Temperature-controlled freight (e.g. pharmaceuticals)
- High value freight
• Report all incidents or potential hazards immediately (anonymously if required)
• Always adhere to all security procedures
Skills and experience essential for Warehouse Operatives:
• Experience of working in a busy manual environment
• Attention to detail
• Ability to communicate with all levels appropriately both written and verbally
• Logical and systematic thinking to solve problems
• Ability to work flexibly and deal with problems immediately
