Day to day duties and responsibilities of the Sous Chef:
Ensuring smooth Running the kitchen.
Maintaining quality hygiene standards within the production areas at all times.
Ensuring that the kitchen is running effectively and meals are prepared on time and to the highest standards.
Ensuring sufficient mise-en-place has been prepared.
Complete temperature checks of fridges, freezer and deliveries.
Complete temperature tests.
Manage kitchen budget and cost in order to ensure the kitchen is running in accordance to set finances.
Ordering food stocks.

To be considered for the role of Sous Chef:
Experience of managing a busy kitchen within a within a hotel, restaurant, banqueting, contract catering, cruise liner or similar environment
Experience of managing people
Experience of managing budgets
All round strong knowledge of health and hygiene standards within a food production environment.
