We have immediate positions for Airport Security Agents to work either an evening or night shift operation with one of the biggest cargo logistics companies based at East Midlands Airport (DE74 2SA).
No security experience is required as full training will be provided.
This is a long term ongoing role.
The main responsibility of the Airport Security Agent will be to assist with the screening of air cargo using X-Ray machines, guard stationary cargo aircraft and perform security access control duties.
This position requires operational cover on the following two shift patterns between Monday and Friday Nights:
- 1700 hrs – 0130 hrs
- 2100 hrs – 0530 hrs
- £10.75 p/h.
- 40 hrs per week guaranteed.
- Monday to Friday working week.
- Free parking.

- Weekly or monthly pay.
- Free Security Training.
- Free Air Cargo Training.
- Using X-Ray machines to assist in processing large volumes of freight.
- Aircraft Search & Guarding (full training provided).
- Checking of employee identity passes for access control.
- Assist with the physical inspection of cargo and freight.
- Experience in customer service is highly desirable.
- You must be prepared to work in a warehouse environment.
- You must be prepared to perform static guarding duties and stand for long periods.
- Have clear written and verbal communication skills.
- You must have the ability to pass a colour vision assessment.
Successful individuals will be required to pay for their own Criminal Record Check and will be subject to a 5 year background check as part of the recruitment process.
