We have a great opportunity for an experienced Retail Assistant to work for a family run retailer based in Manchester Airport that specialises in providing a wide range of travel services that include shipping, left luggage, lost property and luggage weighing.
This is a shift based role and will involve working weekends between the hours of 0345 hrs and 2200 hrs between Monday and Sunday.

Some of your day to day duties as a Retail Assistant will include:
Selling travel accessories including luggage and travel bags
Logging and storing lost or confiscated luggage
Assisting customers face to face, via email and over the phone
Packaging and shipping misplaced and confiscated luggage
Operating a cash register and taking payments
Giving advice to customers and upselling the companies services to generate more revenue
The essential requirements to be successful for this Retail Assistant position include:
An energetic and enthusiastic person who is approachable and feels comfortable speaking to different people on a daily basis
Have exceptional customer service skills gained from within a similar retail environment
Confident using computers and adaptable to learn new systems
Be able to travel to Manchester Airport
Flexible and willing to work shifts between the hours of 03:45am and 22:00pm on a rotating shift pattern.
You must have experience working in a high street retail or supermarket environment as a customer service agent, sales advisor, sales agent, retail assistant, retail customer service assistant, sales executive, retail assistant, or have experience in a customer facing role
