You will be working in a prestigious VIP lounge, offering 5 star dining, serving modern European and Mediterranean dishes using fresh, seasonal produce.

Day to day duties and responsibilities of the Head Chef:
Effectively control, co-ordinate and plan the activities of your kitchen to outlined standards of procedure
Maintaining high guest satisfaction levels through culinary leadership, ensuring quality of food and drink
Ensuring that the kitchen is running effectively and meals are prepared on time and to the highest standards
Be responsible for the daily management of your kitchen and your team ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are achieved as per Company and legal requirements
Lead the way in making sure all food is prepared safely, cooked perfectly and presented irresistibly.
Be able to effectively manage, motivate and lead a team
Have the ability to develop a team enhancing the skill level of the brigade
Manage kitchen budget and cost in order to ensure the kitchen is running in accordance to set finances
To be considered for the role of Head Chef:
Have previous experience as a Head Chef or as a senior Sous Chef within a quality environment within a restaurant or hotel kitchen. Experience of managing people and budgets. All round knowledge of health and hygiene standards within a food production environment.
