Our client prestigious and busy hospitality venue, is looking to recruit a talented, passionate and experienced Catering Manager to deliver a food and drinks service to an exceptionally high standard.

Day to day duties and responsibilities of the Catering Manager:
Manage, motivate and develop the Catering Team
Plan and organise rotas to ensure that staffing levels are appropriate to meet business levels required to deliver the agreed levels of service.
Manage the ordering of operating stock to ensure that there are sufficient supplies to meet business needs, products are of agreed standard and that costs are controlled to meet budgets
Complete periodic audits to check housekeeping standards of catering areas
Monitor and maintain the hygiene and maintenance of the front and back of house
Handle the recruitment, training, and retention of staff.
To be considered for the role of Catering Manager:
Experience as a Team Leader from a Café environment, Catering Manager, Food and Beverage Supervisor, Restaurant Manager, Hospitality Manager, Front of House Manager, Café Manager, or Lounge Manager will be highly desirable.
Experience of managing and leading teams from within a restaurant or from within the hospitality industry
The ability to lead and motivate teams
Manage sickness and leave
Must be a strong, reliable and dedicated individual who can actively strive to contribute positively and consistently maintain the highest of standards
This position will be shift based and the hours of work will be between 0500 hrs to 2200 hrs.
