An excellent opportunity for a Airframer Fleet Manager has arisen at an international high technology group, operating in the aircraft propulsion and equipment, space and defense markets. The successful Airframer Fleet Manager will have a good knowledge of engine turbomachinery and systems. You will work closely in implementing service contracts for airlines to ensure the airworthiness of the jet engine fleet. You will have at least 2 to 3 years experience in Airline Part M and G activities.
Airframer Fleet Manager Responsibilities:
You will assume responsibility to monitor the evolution and events of airlines jet engine fleet and their implications for engineering Part M.
Be responsive and proactive about the needs of an airline for Part M.
Ensure that airlines and its Airframer Fleet Manager consider the recommendations and actions needed for better management of the fleet.
You will develop tasks in coordination with the Part M engineering of the jet engine fleet.
You will track the health of the engine; monitor and feedback flight events, FOD and maintenance actions.
You will follow engine BSI forecast plans and updates.
Airframer Fleet Manager Requirements:
Good knowledge of work scoping and work shop activities.
Detailed working knowledge of Part M.
Good knowledge of engine performance.
Motivated and committed to continuous improvement.
Good communication skills and the ability to work individually or as part of a team.
Although primarily based in Stansted, you will from time to time travel to another site at Frimley.
Excellent salary package on offer, up to £70,000.
Working 37 hours per week.
Hours: 0830 am till 5 pm, with on duty 24/7, every 4 to 6 weeks.
25 days holidays plus 8 public holidays.
Pension: 9% by employer with zero contribution from employee. If employee contributes 5%, the employer contribution increases to 10%.
Expenses for travel between 2 sites: Stansted and Frimley.
