This Sous Chef position is a permanent based at London Gatwick Airport.
This Luxury VIP Lounge is fast becoming the preferred choice for thousands of passengers seeking a unique guest experience well before their departure.
Due to increased expansion, they are now looking go a highly experienced Sous Chef who will be responsible for managing all aspects of the kitchen.
This position will be shift based and the hours of work will be between 06000 hrs -1900 hrs.

Day to day duties and responsibilities of the Sous Chef:
Running the kitchen
Maintaining quality hygiene standards within the production areas at all times
Ensuring that the kitchen is running effectively and meals are prepared on time and to the highest standards
Ensuring sufficient mise-en-place has been prepared
Complete temperature checks of fridges, freezer and deliveries
Complete temperature tests
Manage kitchen budget and cost in order to ensure the kitchen is running in accordance to set finances
Ordering food stocks
To be considered for the role of Sous Chef:
Experience of managing a busy kitchen within a within a hotel, restaurant, banqueting, contract catering, cruise liner or similar environment
Experience of managing people
Experience of managing budgets
All round knowledge of health and hygiene standards within a food production environment.
