Working for one of the UK's largest facilities services providers, the Fabric Engineering team work within London Heathrow Airport and ensure that all plumbing, carpentry and minor electrical maintenance tasks are completed in accordance with company service level agreements (SLA's)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for 2 experienced Fabric Engineers to join our clients existing team. This position will be working nights between the hours of 1900 - 0700 on a fixed 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

Key duties and responsibilities of the Fabric Engineer:

Perform maintenance and light repairs such as tiling, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical duties
Carrying out all maintenance and repair tasks in accordance with agreed SLA's
Assisting with basic heating ventilation and air conditioning repairs
Work to job cards provided by Duty Managers
Deal with emergency jobs as and when they arise such as plumbing leaks and emergency repairs
Assist with planned maintenance and testing
Be working on your own as well as part of a team

As a Fabric Engineer you will:

Have experience working within a similar role 
Have experience using a wide range of electrical tools
Have experience in tiling, carpentry, painting, plumic and electrical repairs
Have experience as a Skilled Tradesman, Handy Man, Handy Person, Maintenance Person, Painter and Decorator, Electrician, DIY Expert, Labourer, Carpenter, Tiller, Multi-Trade's Person, Maintenance Technician, Fabric Engineer, Fabric Technician or any experience dealing with soft Facilities Management
Experience from within a facilities, construction, building or site maintenance or residential and commercial property maintenance environment is essential.
A basic understanding of HVAC repairs would be desirable however not essential.
